The Spring/Summer 2015 London Fashion Week starts today – and there’s a real buzz about what’s to come over the next few days! Anticipation is building, and we can’t wait to see the new fashion collections from top designers of the moment…
London Fashion Week takes place twice a year: in February for the Autumn/Winter collections and in September for the Spring/Summer collections. Each event showcases over 250 designers to more than 5,000 visitors, and it is estimated that orders of over £100m are placed during each London Fashion Week.
The event is organised by the British Fashion Council (BFC) and funded by a number of sponsors (including principal sponsor Vodafone). There are 80 catwalk shows on the official schedule as well as over 70 on the off-schedule guide. The designer showrooms at London Fashion Week will showcase over 170 brands and will be open daily from 9.30am-7pm, closing at 6pm on Tuesday 16th. Designers include Alexis Barrell, Georgia Hardinge, Joanne Stoker, Lucy Choi London, Maria Francesca Pepe, Steven Tai and Tamara Salman.
